The heart of a Nexia smart home system is the Nexia Bridge. The 1050, 850 and 824 Controls are built with the Nexia Bridge functionality inside. Stand-alone versions of the Nexia Bridge are also available for when a Control with the integrated
Nexia Bridge is unavailable. The Nexia products contain Z-Wave® technology that will speak to and connect with other Z-Wave products you can then use to manage, monitor and automate your home.

Nexia is built on an open architecture platform, which means it works with products from a number of
different manufacturers. Hundreds of additional Nexia-compatible Z-Wave® products are available online and from most consumer electronics and home improvement retailers.*
